Used equipment for public works contractors in Morocco

The machines a public works company lives on, at a price that protects your margin.

Omega Machines · Updated 12 October 2026

A public works company earns its money on fixed prices. The contract value is agreed at the start and never moves again, so everything saved on machinery stays in your pocket at the end of the job.

That is why most Moroccan contractors buy used. A well chosen machine does the same work as a new one for a fraction of the price, and it does not cost you a payment every month for five years.

What runs on a road job

  • Rollers and compactors for subgrade, base and asphalt layers
  • Graders for setting out platforms and haul roads
  • Wheel loaders for loading and handling material
  • Tipper trucks for hauling spoil and bringing material in
  • Tracked excavators for earthworks and trenches

Why used wins on a fixed price contract

Every dirham spent on machinery comes straight out of your margin. A used machine that does the job leaves you a reserve for the things that go wrong, and you still own it for the next contract instead of handing a hired machine back.

Buying several machines at once

Many of our customers take two or three machines for one job. Send us the whole list rather than one machine at a time and we come back with one price and one delivery schedule.

What happens after the sale

A machine standing idle on a public works site costs money every day. We supply the parts and we carry out repairs, at Mohammedia or on your site, including on machines you bought elsewhere.

What Moroccan contractors ask us before they place an order.

Buying and prices

Where can I buy used public works equipment in Morocco?+
At our Mohammedia yard near Casablanca. The machines are there to be seen, already cleared through customs and priced in dirhams.
What does a used wheel loader cost in Morocco?+
Our SDLG 956L at Mohammedia is MAD 685,000. The exact figure depends on the model, the hours and the year, and it is printed on every machine page.
Who sells used graders into Morocco?+
We do. Our 2024 Caterpillar 140H sits in the Qingdao yard and ships to Morocco by container to order.
What does a used roller cost?+
It depends on the model and the hours. Our Dynapac and XCMG rollers are priced on their own pages and we quote them delivered to Morocco on request.
Where can I find a tipper truck for a road job?+
Our Howo 8x4 is at Mohammedia at MAD 1,495,000, cleared and ready to work.
Do you discount an order of several machines?+
Yes. A multiple machine order always gets better terms than a single unit, so send us the full list.

Choosing the machines

What machines does a road job actually need?+
A roller, a loader, a tipper and an excavator cover most of the work. Tell us the job and we will suggest the shortest list that does it.
Should I buy new or used for a government contract?+
Used in almost every case. The contract price is fixed, so the cheapest machine that does the work is the one that leaves you a margin.
What size excavator suits road earthworks?+
Around twenty tonnes covers most road jobs. Our Caterpillar 323D at Mohammedia is in that class.
Which roller brand works well in Morocco?+
Dynapac and XCMG are easy to get parts for and simple to service, which matters more than the badge on a site far from a city.
Can you help me choose between two machines?+
Yes, we do it every day. Describe the job and the budget and we will say which one is right, even when it is the cheaper one.

Delivery and support

Are your machines ready to work on delivery?+
Yes. Every machine is started, run and checked before it leaves the yard, and anything worn or faulty is replaced.
Is customs already paid on your Moroccan machines?+
On the Mohammedia stock, yes, with the customs year shown on the page. Machines coming from China are cleared on arrival by the buyer.
Can you deliver straight to the site?+
Yes, anywhere in Morocco, or you can collect with your own low loader.
Can I try the machine before buying?+
Yes. Let us know in advance so the machine is pulled out and somebody is there to run it for you.
Will you invoice my company?+
Yes, the invoice is made out to your company and handed over with the machine documents.
What if a machine breaks down on site?+
Call us. We diagnose, supply the part and attend either on site or at the yard depending on the fault.
Can you supply spare parts afterwards?+
Yes, for all the main brands, including machines you did not buy from us.

Send us your machine list

The list of machines and the town where the site is are enough for one combined quote. You will normally hear back the same day.
