Where can I buy a used mini excavator?+
From our Mohammedia yard, where you can see the machine before you pay, or sourced to order from Qingdao if you want something we do not hold.
How much does a used mini excavator cost?+
Ours is MAD 235,000 as it stands in Morocco, with the douane already settled. Price moves with hours, make and whether a blade and rubber tracks are fitted.
How much is a used 5 ton excavator?+
Our Caterpillar 305.5E is MAD 235,000 with 428 hours. For a Japanese built Cat at that hour count it is a strong figure in the Moroccan market.
Where can I buy a cheap mini digger?+
Buying from a yard that owns the machine is what keeps it cheap. Be careful with anything priced far below the market, because small machines are worked hard and hidden wear is common.

Mini or full size
What size mini excavator do I need?+
Work out the deepest trench you need and the narrowest gap it must pass through. Those two numbers decide it, and the second one is why people buy small in the first place.
Do I need a mini excavator or a full size one?+
If access is the problem, buy small. If depth or volume is the problem, buy big. A mini excavator on the wrong job is slow and expensive, and so is a twenty tonne machine that cannot get through the gate.
Can a mini excavator work in a garden or alley?+
Yes, that is exactly what it is for. It fits through gaps a full size machine cannot, and on rubber tracks it does far less damage to finished ground.
What can you dig with a 5 ton excavator?+
Footings, service and drainage trenches, pool excavations and landscaping. It is a genuine working machine rather than a toy, within its depth.
Can a mini excavator be towed on a trailer?+
A five tonne machine can be moved on a plant trailer behind a suitable vehicle, which is a large part of why contractors buy this size.
Are mini excavators cheap to run?+
Considerably cheaper than a full size machine. Less fuel, cheaper undercarriage parts, and the transport cost between jobs is a fraction of what a twenty tonner costs to move.

Can you source a mini excavator to order?+
Yes. Tell us the weight class, the maximum hours you will accept and whether you need a blade or rubber tracks, and we will look across our network.
How much does it cost to ship a mini excavator?+
It is among the cheapest machines we ship, because it fits inside a container whole. Give us your port and we will confirm the rate.
Can a mini excavator fit inside a container?+
Yes, a five tonne machine goes in without being dismantled, which is why the freight on one is so much lower than on a full size excavator.
Can I inspect a mini excavator before I pay?+
Yes. The Mohammedia machine you can come and see yourself, and for anything sourced from Qingdao you or an inspector are welcome at that yard.
