Buying used tippers, mixers and tankers

HOWO trucks for haulage, concrete and fuel, and how to choose between the configurations.

Omega Machines · Updated 6 September 2026

Trucks are the machines that turn a site into a business, because nothing gets built if nothing gets moved. Our three HOWO trucks in Mohammedia cover the three jobs contractors most often need: hauling, pouring concrete and carrying fuel.

HOWO dominates this market across Africa and Asia and it is not an accident. The trucks are cheap to buy, the parts are everywhere, and the chassis tolerates roads that would break something lighter. Any workshop in a working town has already fixed one.

Six wheels or eight

A 6x4 has three axles and suits mixers, tankers and general haulage. An 8x4 has four axles, which spreads the load and keeps a heavily laden tipper legal and stable on rough ground. If you are hauling rock or heavy spoil, the extra axle earns its money.

Questions we are asked

What fleet buyers ask before they pick a truck configuration.

Price

How much does a used tipper truck cost?+
Our 2025 HOWO 8x4 tipper is MAD 1,495,000 in Mohammedia and it is factory stock that has never worked. For trucks held in China we quote in dollars against current stock, so tell us the body size you want.
What does a concrete mixer truck cost?+
The 12 cubic metre HOWO mixer in our Mohammedia yard is MAD 1,265,000 with about 20,000 kilometres behind it. The drum, chute and water system are all working and it can go straight onto a pour.
How much is a fuel tanker truck?+
Our 20 cubic metre HOWO tanker is MAD 1,450,000, factory stock and never loaded. The tank is compartmented and the pump and hose gear come with the truck.
Are HOWO trucks cheaper than European brands?+
Substantially, both to buy and to keep running. That price gap is the main reason they have taken over haulage fleets across Africa and Asia over the last decade.

Choosing the truck

Should I buy a 6x4 or an 8x4 truck?+
An 8x4 has a fourth axle that spreads the load, which keeps a heavy tipper legal and stable on rough haul roads. A 6x4 costs less to buy and run and is the right choice for mixers, tankers and lighter haulage.
What size concrete mixer truck should I buy?+
Match it to the plant you are feeding and the distance to the pour. Twelve cubic metres is the size most ready mix operations settle on, because it is a useful load without being awkward on site roads.
How many compartments should a fuel tanker have?+
Enough to carry the grades you actually sell. Compartments let you run more than one product on the same trip, which is what makes a distribution round profitable rather than just possible.
Are HOWO parts easy to find in my country?+
Almost certainly, because these trucks are everywhere. Chassis, axle and brake components are stocked in most places where the brand sells, which is a large part of why fleets choose them.

Shipping and buying

How are trucks shipped to my country?+
Trucks travel on a bulk vessel because they cannot be reduced enough for a container. The mixer drum and the tipper body are prepared and secured before loading.
Can you source a truck that is not listed on your site?+
Yes, and trucks are the machine we source to order most often. Tell us the configuration, the body size and the horsepower you need and we will find it.
Do you sell trucks from your China yard as well as Morocco?+
Yes. Which yard suits you better depends on where you are, because Morocco is closer to West Africa while Qingdao serves Asia, the Caribbean and South America more economically.
Can I buy a truck and an excavator together?+
Yes, and pairing machines in one shipment usually reduces the freight per unit. Tell us the combination you want and we will price the whole load.

Tell us which machine and which port

Those two pieces of information are all we need in order to give you a real answer, and you will normally hear back from us on the same day.
