Price and where to buy
Where can I buy a used forklift?+
From a yard that owns its machines rather than a broker. Ours stand in Qingdao with the price, the capacity and the photographs on the page before you contact us.
How much does a used forklift cost?+
Ours are USD 8,500 for the 2 ton and USD 23,000 for the 8 ton, both FOB Qingdao. Capacity is what moves the price more than anything else.
Where can I buy a cheap 2 ton forklift?+
We have a Heli 2 ton diesel at USD 8,500, which is the lowest priced machine anywhere in our stock. At that figure it competes with a serious repair bill on an old one.
How much is a used 8 ton forklift?+
Ours is USD 23,000 with just over 800 hours. Heavy capacity machines normally cost a good deal more, and at that hour count there is very little wear anywhere on it.
What is the cheapest forklift you have?+
The Heli 2 ton at USD 8,500. If you need something cheaper still, tell us your budget and we will look, but below that figure you are buying somebody else's problem.

Where do warehouses buy used forklifts?+
Increasingly from exporters rather than local dealers, because the same machine costs a fraction of the local price even after freight. That is the whole reason this trade exists.
Can I buy a used forklift for my yard?+
Yes, and a diesel machine is the right choice for a yard. Electric trucks are built for smooth indoor floors and struggle on broken surfaces and in the wet.
Where can I buy a forklift for a container yard?+
Our 8 ton machine is built for exactly that kind of work. Tell us the heaviest thing you lift and how high you need it and we will confirm the capacity.
Where can I buy a forklift for a factory?+
The 2 ton machine covers most factory work, pallets, drums, raw material and finished stock. If you handle steel or castings you want more capacity.
Choosing the right one
What size forklift do I need to load a container?+
It depends on what goes in it. Palletised goods need two to three tonnes. Moving the loaded container corner itself is a different job and needs the eight tonne class.
What capacity forklift do I need for pallets?+
Two tonnes handles ordinary palletised stock comfortably. Go higher only if your pallets are unusually heavy or you stack high.
Do I need a 2 ton or an 8 ton forklift?+
Weigh your heaviest single load and add a margin. If that number is under about 1.8 tonnes the small machine is right, and if it is steel, timber bundles or container work you want the eight.
Can a forklift work outdoors on rough ground?+
A diesel forklift on solid tyres handles a compacted yard surface well. It is not a rough terrain machine, so if your ground is genuinely broken, tell us and we will source the right type.
Should I buy a diesel or an electric forklift?+
Diesel, in most cases outside Europe. It works outdoors, it does not stop when the power fails, and there is no battery pack to replace at enormous cost. Both of ours are diesel.
Buying and shipping
Can you supply several forklifts for a warehouse?+
Yes. Fleets are normal work for us and buying several together improves both the price per machine and the freight.
Can you source a forklift I do not see listed?+
Yes. Forklifts pass through Qingdao constantly in every capacity, so tell us the lift height and the load and we will find it.
How much does it cost to ship a forklift?+
Less than almost anything else we sell, because the small ones fit inside a container. Give us your port and we will confirm the rate.
Can a forklift fit inside a container?+
A two tonne machine does once the mast is lowered. The eight tonne machine is too tall and heavy, so that one travels on a flat rack or a bulk vessel.
Are parts easy to find for a Heli forklift?+
Yes. Heli builds more forklifts than almost anyone, and the Isuzu engine design in the larger machine is one of the most common in the world.
